I've been bouncing around the western U.S. for most of my life; now I'm settled in Chicago. I'm a presentation specialist and graphic designer who spends most of my off-time indulging my obsessions: belly dancing, writing, volunteering for the Anti-Cruelty Society, and sometimes designing web pages and editing music videos.
I am currently owned by my cats Hermione (She Who Must Be Obeyed), Jack (He Who Would Rather Pounce Something) and Iroh/Bud (He Who Is Hiding Under the Bed), as we struggle for control of the condo. I'm a belly dancer, an Anti-Cruelty Society volunteer, a Horsechick, a Sunnydale Slayer, an Uncharted Territories Tour Guide, a vidder with Apocalypse West and many other things that aren't (quite) as silly as they sound, and make me a happy camper.
Anyone is welcome to friend me. I friend people who have come to my attention in one way or another: by commenting in my journal in ways that amuse or touch me, by writing good stories, or by being generally entertaining. If you friend me and I don't friend you back, it's not personal, it's just my attention span.
Most of my journal titles are from the Lowen & Navarro song "Stranger Than Dreams" (and I swiped the idea from
celli).
